Mike was born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio.  He and his wife, Sandy, live in Echo Lake with their sons, Alex and Sam. While Alex has finished school, Sam is graduating this year.

Mike is a graduate of Lakewood St. Edward High School and graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Communications. 

Mike has represented Ward 4 for 12 years and has been the Council President for the past two years.  Mike chaired the Finance Committee for ten years and represented the Council on the Southwest General Hospital Board as a Trustee for twelve years. 

Mike now chairs the Recreation Committee.  Mike is a member of the Northeast Ohio City Council Association (NOCCA) and is a past board member.  Mike is a member of the Strongsville Rotary Club and the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. 

Mike founded the Strongsville Youth Commission ten years ago and holds an annual food drive for Ward 4 with the Commission in October of each year.  Mike hosts an annual golf outing to benefit the Strongsville football program in July of each year.  If you need to contact Mike regarding a city issue, or you are interested in golfing, donating a door prize, or sponsoring a hole at this year's outing, you can contact Mike at (440) 227-5553.
